The cubicle curtain track has remained unchanged for the past 50+ years.  The “Cubicle Curtain Crisis” involves snagged curtains,
loud metal rollers screeching on aluminum track,  a ladder, and 25 minutes to exchange one curtain.  We have changed all of this.
The On The Right Track system runs virtually silent, no longer gets stuck, and allows housekeeping to change the curtain in under a
minute without a ladder. A quiet experience for the patient, without noisy carriers, and free of the snag associated with traditional
curtains is something hospital room of the future will have. The frequency that curtains are changed in an effort to fight Hospital
Acquired Infections is increasing.  Our system can be changed in under a minute, and all while standing on the ground. www.

Healthcare in the near term and further into the future will require highly efficient, highly adaptable environments that create a uniquely
personal, customized experience for the patient. Since building an addition for Phoenix’s Good Samaritan Hospital in 1956, Kitchell

healthcare related, and it has completed over $5 billion in healthcare projects on more than 80 healthcare campuses. Modern
Healthcare magazine has featured Kitchell as a Top 20 Healthcare Construction Manager since 1983. With a discrete division devoted
exclusively to healthcare projects, and stringent focus on infection control and risk management, Kitchell understands healthcare
clients need more than a building. They need complex structures centered on medical technology and quality patient care.  A wholly-

HCAHPS scores show that noise is the most common patient complaint. Under the new
Value-Based Purchasing program, dissatisfaction in this area will impact government
funding. To address this problem and HIPAA privacy requirements, the current FGI
Guidelines for the Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities recommends the
use of sound masking in patient rooms. The LogiSon® Acoustic Network is uniquely
designed to give patients individual control over their acoustic environment. It distributes
a sound similar to soft airflow, covering up conversations, improving sleeping conditions
and overall comfort, allowing patients to get the rest needed for recovery. It’s proven to
increase satisfaction ratings for noise. Trials at hospitals such as Modesto Memorial
resulted in multi-floor installations. The manufacturer has designed sound masking
technologies for over thirty years. Their products are installed in hundreds of millions of
square feet worldwide and have earned over 17 industry awards, four in healthcare
applications.
